Discussion So I just built a pc earlier in the months and i gotta tell you i thought 60fps was smooth and now i can confirm 120+ fps is way better. I went back to 60fps in the middle of playing 120 and holy GUACAMOLE
No I'm not a spoiled brat; my dad bought a 3090 pc (i5 11400F, 64GB memory) for Tensor Flow deep learning research purposes, but ended up switching to cloud computing after all. After which he decided to donate the pc to me as a graduation gift.
I don't think I'm interested in crypto mining as electricity is really expensive here.
Tech Support My first pc and it only starts sometimes. however whenever I restart it won’t unless I try and try again. The bios looks like this and same whenever I try to start up the pc again this green glitch always pops up I don’t know much about pc so any info would help
I know it's semi new and alot of games aren't equipped to handle it, but when I got it I didn't expect the drivers to cause games like Apex to be unstreamable. Apex legends takes 99% of my card leaving no headroom for my streaming service and only did this after I updated my Nvidia drivers. I've been told to make it compatible with the majority of games and to keep it from crashing them I need to under lock it which just seems a shame... Anyone have any other ideas?
I need a starter gaming pc
Tech Support Can I use a cheap video card for only connect 3 external monitors and then the integrated CPU graphics for all the video editing tasks? Because the motherboard has only 2 video outputs (HDMI and DP) and I can't connect more than 2 monitors... I also want to preserve the CPU from doing too much
Let’s say we have a MSI 144hz monitor and a rtx 2060 card would it support it and have no problems? Or if there were problems and you if lowered the refresh rate to 60hz would there still be problems?(also the graphics card is an msi too)
sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, Ive been wanting to get some of their key caps but I don’t want to blow 30$usd on a single key cap if it’s not as good as it should be. alternatively, where can I purchase unique key cap designs? thanks all hoping you’re all having a good day
My friend bought an HP notebook with Windows 11. It came with a spindle drive turning at 5400 rpm. It's slow. Really, damn slow. The computer has an i5-1155g7 with 12 Gb of DDR4 ram. If it was running Windows 10, it would be quite a bit faster. Ok. Nobody should use a 5400 rpm drive. Why they're still included in new machines is beyond me.
I picked up a 2.5" SSD from Best Buy and installed it. The computer won't see the disk. I tried one of my other SSD's. No go. I tried a M.2 and still no go. The original drive goes back in and boots every time. There has to be something going on that I don't know about. A bios setting? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance,
Edit: Best Buy, not Costco. They often have good prices on components.
I bought a 3080 back when they first launched and I’ve had issues with my computer crashing when I push the graphics settings. It just makes all displays go black, but the case fans, lights, etc stay on. It’s usually fine if I use afterburner and crank down my core and memory clocks. This has persisted through multiple graphics driver updates, reinstalls, and windows reinstalls
So I will be upgrading from a ryzen 5 1600af to a ryzen 5 3600. I was told that I need to completely re install my OS otherwise I'll run into problems. I'm fine with that. My question is should I wipe the drive my OS is on before I install the new version of windows? Also should I wipe all my other storage drives or can I still use those with the new OS. Thanks for any help
I just wanna know the quickest way I can swap (porn) tab to something else if someone were to walk in my room. The only descent way I know how to hide the tab I was in is with windows key-d but I'm looking for something like a single button that does the same.
