Your top fans should be exhaust and side fans should be intake

Why? It blows directly into gpu

You're blowing hot air on it, let your bottom intakes do the job

Ll120s or the better looking ones? I can’t decide to match them or not.

If you can’t turn off your lights and have a rave from all the RGB, are you really gaming?

Looks good already but more just because you can. And I saw your other comment, get more LL’s to match.

This I agree. Hot air goes up why force it down

1

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 03 '21

So what layout do you recommend? I’m gonna do it when I get a part in after Christmas

Bottom and side intake, top exhaust. I would even add one back exhaust fan as well but it wouldn’t make too much of a different with or without.

1

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 03 '21

Okay thanks! I will do that. I’m gonna have to drill out holes to add an exhaust fan I was thinking about it but I don’t think it’s necessary unless it really is…

You mean the back exhaust? I see there are openings you should be able to fit screws thru there. I don’t think you need to drill holes.

1

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 03 '21

Man it’s pretty tight I would have to get a smaller fan cause my mother board sticks out far

1

Then don’t worry about it. That one fan isn’t gonna matter.

2

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 03 '21

Yea for sure 🤝

Maybe put the LLs that are on the side on the radiator and put some QLs as intakes on the side. Maybe also an LL on the back as an extra exhaust.

2

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 03 '21

I was thinking about that…

u/LyKosa91 Dec 04 '21

The 011d can't take a 120mm rear exhaust fan

Thanks for correcting that.

I was thinking O11D XL.

In a situation with forced intake and exhaust, natural convection doesn't really count for shit. GN proved it by testing the Silverstone RV02 on its side, thermals were within error margins.

I've often wondered how this Configuration would fare in the 011, potentially it could be the best of both worlds. Cool air blown directly onto the face of the GPU, cool air to the rad, hot air pulled straight out the side.

Leave it

1

u/SlimyRedditor621 Dec 03 '21

All that RGB makes your motherboard look like the bootes void

1

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 04 '21

I know I need to get a white mobo

1

u/cemsengul Dec 04 '21

Leave it. Maybe install one of those AIO coolers that have an OLED display on the cooler so you can play cool little animations inside your case.

1

u/Goertzy-Mike Dec 04 '21

Durr it was like $100 more

1

u/Somemanonreddit69 Dec 04 '21

I would say move you aio down to a vertical position then get more rgb, it is not gonna feel as cramped and you will see more rgb, trust me, i got the same case and it frlt much better
