I'm kind of the opposite. The originals were just a button mash fest, kind of like Devil May Cry, but with Greco Roman mythology.

While the new one's combat isn't groundbreaking by any means, at least it delivered on a good story..

Maybe just don’t mash square? Also I don’t know if you did ever play the original trilogy because it isn’t just a boring button masher. 4 is still great. All the Mainline GOW games are really good.

Well, it wasn't exactly complex stuff is what I meant. I've played every game in the series. They were fun for what they were, but it wasn't an in depth game by any stretch.
