Never thought I’d see a God of War game on any other system but PS. At this point, anything’s possible! Bloodborne tops my list for hopefuls.

99

u/Dwarvenmasterrace PlayStation Oct 21 '21

Bloodborne I see happening more likely than Spider-Man, to be honest.

But in any way, I'm glad PC gamers can enjoy these games as they are really great.

20

u/JingleJangleG PlayStation Oct 21 '21

Sadly bloodborne wasn't part of the nvidia leak, so i guess its not coming too soon. Maybe if the rumours about bluepoint doing a remaster are true

9

u/ribtony PlayStation Oct 21 '21

What nvidia leak?

-6

u/balazs955 Oct 21 '21

All you had to do, literally, was to google: nvidia leak ps games

12

u/ribtony PlayStation Oct 21 '21

Ok but i couldve just asked and waited like any other lazy person would. Thanks lol. Probably havent heard of this cuz im the "dont believe it till its real" type

1

u/balazs955 Oct 21 '21

I mean, writing this question took more effort, since you can just left mouse click, drag along "nvidia leak", right mouse click, search with google. 😂

10

u/Obi-WanLebowski Oct 21 '21

I used to act this way.

Then I realized that

A) reddit is a place for discussion and asking and answering questions is a normal and natural part of discussion.

2) many people are just scrolling through on thier phones and doing a search for anything is infinitely more effort than simply continuing to scroll through the comments.

III) it's actually far less effort overall for one person to ask a question and another provide an answer than it is for each of the hundreds or even thousands of people to ALL look up the same information individually.

So sure, in one sense you are kinda right if the only people involved were the ones who directly commented. But it really doesnt hold up when you consider how many other readers may likely have the same question.

2

u/balazs955 Oct 21 '21

I can agree with your second point.

I can see what you mean by the third even tho if they were on mobile they probably wouldn't open my link.

The first one though, if I go with that and everyone asks all the questions that came to their mind unfiltered then 99% of reddit would be that, questions, unanswered.

1

u/Syskye Oct 21 '21

Am on mobile. 100% I wouldn't have cared enough to check, but thanks to the link now I know what games got leaked.

0

u/ribtony PlayStation Oct 21 '21

yea what he said

0

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

[removed]

2

u/ribtony PlayStation Oct 21 '21

What

1

u/near9277 Oct 21 '21

That leak may not be 100% accurate. Halo 5 PC released was quickly denied by devs. Moreover, there are so many rumours around Bloodborne regards to remake - PC Port and 60 FPS patch. And BB is the most requested port i think

37

u/chanlion Oct 21 '21

Spiderman is so good with the force feedback controllers. If it does every go to PC, I think it should be played with the PS5 controller. You miss so much otherwise.

4

u/MRDUDE117 Oct 21 '21

I was thinking about getting a ps5 controller next for my pc. Do you know how well it works with other games?

3

u/ThatChrisFella Oct 21 '21

In terms of games that support the adaptive triggers on pc, afaik there's only the newest Metro game.

The haptic feedback does match with game audio in other games, but it isn't specifically used to do what it does on PS5 (e.g. mimicking walking across a particular surface, or feeling water in a stream).

As a controller though it works fine, I play pretty much everything on it on my pc.

1

u/ardeki Oct 21 '21

I use one for most stuff I play, seems to work wonderfully with Steam. And for anything not on Steam DS4Windows works as well!

1

u/Townscent Oct 21 '21

Only the games made with native support for ps5 controller basically. Native Xbox controller support is still more prevalent because it's system native on windows computers

12

u/AC4life234 Oct 21 '21

Why are you downvoted so much lol? It's a fair point. I hate the adaptive triggers but the haptic feedback is awesome. Something like spiderman is easier with a controller

14

u/just-searching-memes Oct 21 '21

You got downvoted For talking about an amazing feature that they put into a game.. So stupid. I've never tried the PS5 controller but sounds great. Spiderman game was meant to be played on controller anyway

2

u/zxcymn Oct 21 '21

The PS5 controller is so incredibly immersive that anyone who hasn't tried it will simply never understand. It's actually unbelievable how much it adds to a game that has used even half its potential.

1

u/v0id404 Oct 21 '21

Wait does ps5 controller work with pc?

1

u/nick13b Oct 21 '21

MS wins

1

u/drtekrox Oct 21 '21

Yeah I can see that, Spiderman has in a way become Sony's 'Mascot' - Crash is on Xbox, Switch and PC. Spidey is Sony's.

I can live with that as a PC dude.

5 years is a long time and often the industry changes that it may feel outdated.

[deleted]

1

u/SiriusMoonstar Oct 21 '21

Games can be outdated in other ways. Witcher 3 was already quite outdated in the gameplay department when it came out, with clunky movement, combat and inventory management.

[deleted]

1

u/SiriusMoonstar Oct 21 '21

If only I had the patience for that sort of thing.

1

u/Townscent Oct 21 '21

They are not gonna happen until the sequel is ready to be announced with a teaser. the idea is to announce a exclusive game for 1-2 years in the future, and then have the games released on pc, some time before to make people attached to the story, so they have to invest in a PS to finish it w/o too many spoilers.

1

u/SiriusMoonstar Oct 21 '21

I think a port of the rumoured Bloodborne remaster is likely to come some time down the line. The original version is probably too rough to try to port.

0

u/fafarex Oct 21 '21

For bloodborn to be ported a sequel probably need to be annonce on ps5.

These Playstation first party port are all profite inducing advertisement for the ps5 and the new games that won't be available for years (or maybe ever) on pc.

1

u/O118999881999II97253 Oct 21 '21

Agreed but also the image op used is fucking hilarious god damn

1

u/Daxoss Oct 21 '21

I've got 5 completed characters on PS4 and did them again on PS5. I'm giddy at the thought of doing them all again on PC.

It's just a fantastic game. Probably my best of all time.

1

u/Caspica Oct 21 '21

Yes 60FPS Bloodborne please! I can’t play it on my PS4, it’s too janky and laggy.

1

u/Wiskersthefif Oct 21 '21

Could you even imagine Bloodborne with 60 fps? Please... I need this...

1

u/ElCapitanoMaldito Oct 21 '21

Bloodborne is announced to PC already, alongside Bluepoint's bloodborne 2

0

u/DerpyNinjaGuy Oct 21 '21

The MOMENT no the fucking SECOND it becomes available for PC, I’m getting it!

67

u/TheRealCCHD PC Oct 21 '21

God of war is getting what now?!

26

u/alRand Oct 21 '21

I know right! Is this true?

14

u/TheRealCCHD PC Oct 21 '21

I really hope so!

I really hope so!

I really would love to see the cave you live in lol.

1

u/TheRealCCHD PC Oct 22 '21

Well it's more of an attic, but you can come visit when you're around

47

u/Tremayne45 Oct 21 '21

For some reason I saw this as a request to mod Spider-Man into GoW not release Spider-Man on PC.

6

u/CanolaIsAlsoRapeseed Oct 21 '21

I was thinking it'd be pretty cool if they'd animate him to recall the axe using his webs.

3

u/Zachariot88 Oct 21 '21

Literally just commented this, time to delete mine

1

u/MrHanslaX Oct 21 '21

Same.

It'll definitely happen

55

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

Ghost of Tsushima.

16

u/nearcatch Oct 21 '21

It was in the same nvidia leak that revealed that GoW was releasing on PC, so that’s likely.

1

u/elegant_assasin Oct 21 '21

Pretty sure even if it happens it’s not gonna be anytime soon.

1

u/nearcatch Oct 21 '21

Yeah if the previous gaps hold true they’ll wait a few years, since it came out in 2020.

8

u/Kisielos Oct 21 '21

Around 3-5 years of waiting.

2

u/nevew666 Oct 21 '21

Waiting for this one... I finally got a good pc but no game to play on it lol.

57

u/Bobo3076 Oct 21 '21

Judging by these comments, a lot more people didn’t know about this than I thought.

11

u/Logondo Oct 21 '21

This is literally how I found out. That's awesome news.

9

u/StrikingPreference74 Oct 21 '21

They should bring Ratchet and Clank

14

u/bigolswagbear Oct 21 '21

And persona 5

3

u/Tony_Stonk Oct 21 '21

But there is persona 5 on steam right?

5

u/dragunityag Oct 21 '21

There is strikers which is the almost stand alone sequel.

2

u/albinopopscl Oct 21 '21

It's on Epic Games Store on PC

1

u/bigolswagbear Oct 21 '21

That’s not the same game, that’s persona 5 strikers it’s different. But I appreciate the heads up

2

u/albinopopscl Oct 21 '21

Ah you're right, I don't know why I thought P5R was on there. My bad

1

u/bigolswagbear Oct 21 '21

All good, I was debating on getting strikers but I have other games I want right now lol

3

u/JukePlz Oct 21 '21

Anything is possible! *
\ As long as it doesn't involve porting any of the Japan Studio games to PC)

1

u/Xendrus Oct 21 '21

What is with Japanese studios and making such shitty ports? They're like, incredibly remarkably awful. Is it a cultural thing to just put no effort into something like that, or a business thing that prevents them from wanting to have a good reputation overseas?

1

u/TheReaper2077 Oct 21 '21

Yeah, still can't play RE4 because it's literally unplayable with a mouse and keyboard and I don't have a controller.

2

u/Xendrus Oct 21 '21

You tried the HD remaster? I'm playing through it right now and I managed to get the control dialed in, I'm not like cs:go twitch fast aiming but I can easily shoot birds out of the air as they fly away and such, honestly makes the game too easy I'm trashing normal difficulty right now as I try to unlock advanced, inventory loaded with ammo, you can tell it's meant to use a joystick and miss a lot.

3

u/whatsupbrosky Oct 21 '21

Hooooold up, what!!!!?

3

u/OveReAction10 Oct 21 '21

When we get close to Spider-Man 2

3

u/Deltasquad97 Oct 21 '21

Bring me fucking Bloodborne already

3

u/cgmacleo Oct 21 '21

Just Demon Souls for be please, thanks.

2

u/Jalmondbro Oct 21 '21

I just borrowed my friends PS4 to buy/play it... I’m already about 90% done with everything

2

u/alRand Oct 21 '21

Need to share: I post here and there on Reddit. No other sub is as kind as "gaming". True I've been told "my mom is a ho" while gaming (lol), but y'all are all great. More people need to game.

2

u/ANDREW_HEEEHEEE Oct 21 '21

im actually hyped cause i remember playing it on my ps4 and when i got a pc i missed it.

2

u/DarkCreeper911 Oct 21 '21

Man fuck spiderman, Bloodborne has been out for 6 years without a PC port

2

u/Leahcim696 Oct 21 '21

Bring me bloodborne!

7

u/batmanfan12321 Oct 21 '21

I would say Spider-Man is the least likely game to come to PC, sorry. Either that or Bloodborne

3

u/Platnun12 Oct 21 '21

Bloodborne is more than likely as they hujjad to redo the entire game code wise to get it to run at higher frames.

4

u/ShallowBasketcase Oct 21 '21

The only thing Sony loves more than making money is hoarding Spider-Man.

3

u/epic177 Oct 21 '21

I think y’all should get Uncharted too. Y’all can probably turn it into a better Just Cause with mods lol

4

u/Westwinter Oct 21 '21

You spelled Ghosts of Tsushima wrong.

4

u/Papacu81 PC Oct 21 '21

Yep, I would take Spiderman 10x over God of War. And again, another late game that makes no sense, if you don't know the context of Kratos past as a undimensional musclehead, how he dealt with Gods and the overall themes of the series, most of his character progression in this Last of War game will feel flat. Uncharted 4 the same thing, etc.. PC players needs the previous context to fully enjoy these games, it's not like Sony is delivering the complete package. Horizon makes sense, Spiderman, Tsushima, Bloodborne etc.. but not a 4th mainline game in a long running series

3

u/InadequateChris Oct 21 '21

I'm playing God of War for the first time currently, and am enjoying it just fine without having played the previous games, thanks.

1

u/Ihavetogoalone Oct 21 '21

You can definitely enjoy it, but you will miss most of the refrences.

2

u/alRand Oct 21 '21

Holup: really? Y'all telling the truth? Don't lie to me.

1

u/Ani-A PC Oct 21 '21

Go look on steam, buddy, and weep tears of Joy

2

u/brick422 Oct 21 '21

And GOT please

1

u/Viral_Checker Oct 21 '21

Spider man? More like Bloodboene

0

u/joshford1992 Oct 21 '21

GoW is a pass for me but spider-man would be a def buy.

1

u/IamMyles Oct 21 '21

If we get every exclusive for playstation it's gonna be like "Why'd I get a PS5?" Cause I have a PC, which is why I don't have an Xbox, all the games are released on PC as well anyways. Next thing all of Nintendo's games are gonna be released on PC.

what is the world coming to

15

u/arcadia3rgo Oct 21 '21

This is obviously a step in the right direction for world peace

7

u/Logondo Oct 21 '21

It's gunna be great, right?

I can own God of War and Halo on the same machine. God bless.

1

u/IamMyles Oct 21 '21

Can't wait for the day that we get a Sony PC that has Sony's operating system on it and a Sony Play Store that you can download exclusives from. That'd be awesome. Can't wait.

1

u/Logondo Oct 21 '21

But we already have a Sony PC that has Sony's operating system on it and a Sony Play Store...

The Playstation.

I'm confused were you being sarcastic?

I mean I wouldn't go so far as to wanting a "Sony PC" or anything. I just want Playstation games on my PC so I can play them on the PC I already own.

I certainly wouldn't' want a Sony PC with exclusive games...because like I said, that's basically the Playstation.

1

u/IamMyles Oct 21 '21

Yes it was sarcasm.

2

u/Ya-boi-Benaboy Oct 21 '21

bro honestly if they made a mario kart for pc my life would be complete and I would literally never play any other game

3

u/IamMyles Oct 21 '21

Well today is your lucky day. Because as we speak there is a Mario Kart game on Steam right now that is better in every way than any Nintendo one.

It's called Garfield Kart and it's probably one of the best games of all time. No, that's wrong actually. It IS the best game of all time. The perfect combination of driving and sarcasm. Drifting and lasagna. Items and Mondays. You may think Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the defining kart racer. It's horseshit compared to Garfield Kart. If I could choose one game to be my last game I ever played, it'd be Garfield Kart. If I only had 5 minutes to live, I'd choose to have one last race in Garfield Kart. It is the magnum opus of Artefacts Studio. Who have also released such god tier media as: Garfield Kart: Furious Racing, Deal or No Deal: The Banker is Back, and ATV Drift & Tricks. Their repertoire is immense, and is unrivaled in the world of video game development. I don't know how a video game company could be so perfect as Artefacts Studio is. They make me want to be a better person with how flawless their work is. I'm not going to rate the game, because 10/10 isn't high enough and I physically can't give the game more than that. 11/10 isn't enough, 12/10 isn't enough. If I give it 15/10, you may just think "Wow, it's a perfect game". But it's not as simple as that. I would need a rating system in the 4th dimension to even come close to giving Garfield Kart the correct rating, and we currently don't have the knowledge to achieve that system.

1

u/The_ultimate_alpha PlayStation Oct 21 '21

companies have downgraded the meaning of exclusives

1

u/Grayman222 Oct 21 '21

would love to see spidey, i have all the old games on steam.

1

u/BeefyDragon Oct 21 '21

Is this GoW 1 or 4 ? I swear thr boy in the trailer is from a later version but the title doesn't have any numbers to it.. I'm so confused.

1

u/the_emerald_phoenix Oct 21 '21

It's the 2018 GOW with the Norse pantheon.

1

u/bil-f03 PC Oct 21 '21

I also want to play ghost of tsuchima

1

u/syngursel Oct 21 '21

I want Bloodbourne

1

u/ZarKusCz Oct 21 '21

No thanks

1

u/TheGreatCanadian13 Oct 21 '21

See if Spider-Man comes to the pc there’s gonna be mods

1

u/hisdigness Oct 21 '21

Fucking perfect!

1

u/TheGoodKing93 Oct 21 '21

Oh shit didn't even think about this....... Sony I will do awful disgusting things if we get Spiderman that has at least a gold rating in proton.

1

u/Mrjennesjr Oct 21 '21

Bring me Gran Turismo Sport and 7!!!

1

u/prjindigo Oct 21 '21

Ultra-man's half brother could have been so much more... SO much more.

1

u/kemmyduxx Oct 21 '21

Wait, what?!

1

u/s1umpy Oct 21 '21

I just want Shadow of the Colossus

1

u/biffbamboombap Oct 21 '21

Can we just get Bloodborne though?

1

u/H20-WaterMan PC Oct 21 '21

BRING ME GHOST OF TSUSHIMA AND BLOODBORNE

1

u/dpdma_9 Oct 21 '21

Yasssasss

1

u/TwistedRope Oct 21 '21

Spider-Man is such an amazing game. I'm glad to be an all-platform god so I never have to miss out.

1

u/BashfulRay12 Oct 21 '21

I don't understand why everyone here is saying BB is more likely than Spiderman. I think BB is the least likely game to get PC port. They couldn't even update it with 60fps patch for PS5, I highly doubt it's on their radar of potential PC ports. From the looks, it seems they are only porting 'Blockbuster' games.

1

u/Big_Smoke_420 Oct 21 '21

Now if we could only get the God of War Collection on Steam, that would be great

1

u/Ya-boi-Benaboy Oct 21 '21

literally so true the only reason I've considered getting a PlayStation is to play Spiderman like Sony c'mon PLEASE

1

u/mlodydziad420 Oct 21 '21

The new god of war?!

1

u/Peace-D Oct 21 '21

All I really want is a full collection of EVERY old title on PC... Hopefully, by the time the Epic store gifts us this game, they have achievements... Otherwise, I'm really tempted to buy it on Steam.

1

u/Deadpoolforpres Oct 21 '21

The symbiote suit mods are gonna be nuts😩

1

u/BernieAnesPaz Oct 21 '21

I'm like the only person in the world who doesn't care about the Spiderman game, lmao. From the Nvidia leak, I'm more interested in SMT V PC and Ghost of Tsushima.

1

u/Mubashar4462 Oct 21 '21

they should release parallel on every platform

1

u/Rasty_lv Oct 21 '21

about god of war, im not even mad. everyone needs to play that game.

1

u/black-pe Oct 21 '21

haha true

1

u/meukbox Oct 21 '21

They let us wait for 4 years and yet they'd like us to pre-order?
When it gets released in januari 2022 I've waited 4 years. I'm going to wait a little longer.

1

u/jsabo Oct 21 '21

I was one Taskmaster challenge from getting platinum on the PS4, then my roomies moved out.

I would so correct that mistake if it were on PC.

1

u/Hikoraa Oct 21 '21

All in good time! It'll soon just be a free for all. I personally think we will start seeing an end to exclusives, both Phil Spencer and Jim Ryan have said they want as many people as possible playing their games.

1

u/DanJDR PC Oct 21 '21

Spiderman is a game I'd buy at full price on steam tbh

1

u/ExceedAccel Oct 21 '21

Why omniman looking for spiderman thou???

1

u/dietrying2311 Oct 21 '21

ive just seen a list of leak to pc and sadly bloodborn, spiderman and TLOU wont be release on pc

1

I just wanna know. It will have DRM right?

1

Can with mods

1

u/iEmHollywood Oct 21 '21

Bring me last of us

1

u/RIPN1995 Oct 21 '21

Well God of War took 4 years for it come out on PC

Uncharted 4: 6 years

Days Gone : 2 years

Horizon: 3 years.

If Spider man would come to PC I'm not sure it would be 2018. Maybe when Spider Man 2 drops on PS5, but that could be 2023 earliest.

1

u/MagicMushroo0m Oct 21 '21

we all Need it!

1

u/A_l_i_r_e_z_a Oct 21 '21

But I want ghost of Tsushima :(

1

u/H_N_K_Q Oct 21 '21

anyone know why Sekiro and Darks souls got in PC but not Bloodborne? Any political shits or planetary scale of threats involved?

1

u/PheIix Oct 21 '21

I am also hoping for spiderman, the only game I really want to play that is on the PS platform. And maybe I'd give uncharted a go, but spiderman for sure.

1

u/luckysury333 Oct 21 '21

dont worry youll get it 3 months before Spider Man 2 comes

1

u/majinbuu99 Oct 21 '21

And Ghost of Tsushima too please

1

u/Quitthesht Xbox Oct 21 '21

*Monkey's Paw curls a finger*

You get Spiderman PS4 for PC, but it's a glorified mobile game version like Spiderman 2 for PC.

1

u/KaoticSanity Oct 21 '21

Compared to GOW Spider-Man is pretty mediocre TBH. It was fun swinging around, and combat was alright, but besides that the story was meh, and the side stuff was repetitive. If I were to rank PS exclusives that people who don't have a PS should experience, Spider-Man would be far down the list. That game got away with far too much, solely because it was the first non-shit super hero game in what, 15 years or so

1

u/jcaarow Oct 21 '21

Spider-Man is probably coming but probably closer to when Spider-Man 2 is coming out

1

u/tomster785 Oct 21 '21

Nah, I just wan Gran Turismo 7 and Bloodbourne. Thats all they need to port.

1

u/Trollo12345 Oct 21 '21

Also the new one?

-8

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

Looking through comments here and discussions on Steam it's sad that people only seem to demand more, rather than saying "thank you".

5

u/ShadowTown0407 Oct 21 '21

Man it's a game... They are not giving it for free... Its a product we are buying they are selling... Everyone is happy that its coming to PC but its not like they are giving out free medication... To say "Thank you"

-6

u/[deleted] Oct 21 '21

What does that have to do with "free stuff"? I'm talking about them bending their rules regarding exclusives and putting in money and effort to port it to another platform, so more people could enjoy it where it's comfortable to them. That is worth thanking for. Yet what i see is people demanding more, demanding Bloodborne/Ghost of Tsushima/Demon's Souls/Spider Man and whatever else receive same treatment.

Also, a thing doesn't have to be free for you to thank for it. You do say thank to a mechanic for fixing your car, right? And to a doctor for performing a surgery, and a driver for getting you where you need to be, and a janitor for keeping the place you live/work/visit clean.

2

u/ShadowTown0407 Oct 21 '21

They know the money and effort will pay off because there is a large player base on PC who wants to play these games... Games are a product... There is a difference between a game and a doctor or a mechanic... You thank Samsung everytime you buy a TV or Apple everytime you buy a phone? Because they so kindly allowed you to buy their product with money?

-1

u/The_ultimate_alpha PlayStation Oct 21 '21

well said! the pc community would start hating on GoW when it releases next year
