LPT: If you work from home using a company provided P.C. use a post it to cover the camera. Companies are investing heavily in tech to "monitor" remote employees, and yes they can turn the camera on and yes, they do it. And NEVER use a company PC for anything personal, even if they say it's OK.

LPT If you love someone let them know, time is shorter than you think. I am not talking about sexual love but admiration and respect. people need to know that they matter, that they have value in others lives. that they are needed. sometimes its what gets them through the dark moments of their lives

Social LPT: Life struggles aren't a competition, when people open up to you about them they only want to be hear or maybe get an advice, but they definitely don't want you to one up them.

Social LPT: If you’re conversing in a group, and the person talking is only looking at you, gently glance at other people in the group, then back to the speaker. This will often lead the person talking to glance/shift their eye contact around as well, and makes everyone feel more included.

Food & Drink LPT: If you're trying to lose weight drink an entire bottle or glass of water right before you eat a meal. This will make you feel full quicker and you won't eat as much.

Food & Drink LPT. Raw linguine noodles are a great tool for stirring cream and sugar into coffee. Cheap, nontoxic, compostable, and the whole save-a-turtle thing. Bring a box to the office, make the suggestion to your neighborhood coffeeshop, even use this at home if you're against spoons for some reason.

LPT: leave a job respectfully and calmly whether you get fired unfairly or quit on your own terms. you never know who’s help you’ll need or who you’ll work for in the future.

Miscellaneous LPT Whenever you take out a paid subscription, stick a recurring event in your calendar straight away that reminds you every month, a day before the payment will be taken. This gives you a chance to cancel any you aren't using and also gives visibility of how much money you are spending every month.

LPT: Ask someone you really respect who has a position that you would like to have one day to be your professional mentor. They can help you not repeat their same mistakes, learn faster, and guide you in ways you might not have thought of on your own.

Miscellaneous LPT: Have a bedtime routine, even as an adult. It's a subconscious cue that it's time to wind down, which might especially help if you need to go to sleep at an odd time or in an unfamiliar place.

Traveling LPT if you don't want your bag to be thrown, don't wrap it in plastic. Nothing more annoying and awkward to load than a heavy bag that you can't grab, sticks to everything and won't slide down the hold.

Home & Garden LPT: Put a large bucket under your air conditioner condensate line during the summer. A medium sized house can produce several gallons a day that can be used to water a garden.
